An opportunity has become available for staff to join the University’s Research & Innovation Post Award team, in the role of Research Support Administrator.
Research & Innovation (R&I) provides support, advice and guidance to the University’s research community. It also facilitates interaction between academics, research sponsors, and with business, regional and wider communities. R&I Research Operations aims to deliver sector leading, high quality research management support to enable and facilitate research excellence and innovation
The ideal candidate;
Has proven previous experience of working in an administrative role or finance environment.
Has a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics at grade C or above
Good knowledge of core Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook
Can work both independently and within a team
Has good interpersonal skills
Has good written and communication skills
Has the ability to be flexible and use initiative
Has good workload management skills to meet tight deadlines
