Screening Exercise: 9 – 23 June 2026 (at respective states of origin)

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Nationality: Must be a single, Nigerian citizen by birth.

• Identification: Must possess a National Identity Card (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN) Slip. Data on NIN must correspond with BVN and other credentials.

• Health: Must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit in accordance with Nigerian Army Standards.

• Character: Must have no criminal conviction by any court of competent jurisdiction.

• Education: Minimum of 4 passes, including English Language, in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS.

• Trades Candidates: In addition to the above, must possess a TRADE TEST/CITY AND GUILD CERTIFICATE.

• Age Requirements (as of 30th June 2026):

• Non-tradesmen and women: 18 – 22 years.

• Tradesmen and women: Not more than 26 years.

• Physical Standards (Minimum Height):

• Male: 1.68 metres.

• Female: 1.65 metres.

• Origin: Applicants must apply using their State of Origin and possess a valid Certificate of State of Origin.
